Briana Normandin 鈥�23, a psychology and human services major who`s graduating this month, has always had an interest in helping others. Not only does she volunteer at Hands to Help, but she`s been a student outreach coordinator with Mack Gives Back since her sophomore year. As she wraps up her time at Merrimack, she hopes to pursue a career as a therapist or a board-certified behavioral analyst working with people on the Autism spectrum.

Meet Kyler Quelch 鈥�27, a first-year student paving his path as a para athlete in sled hockey! 馃彃 He is the first Merrimack student to join the Boston ICE Storm sled hockey team, which has played at Lawler Arena for years. When he`s not competing, Kyler studies communications and hopes to use his writing and journalism skills to advocate for those with disabilities.

Since childhood, the Catholic Church has always fascinated and felt like home to Fr. Raymond Dlugos, O.S.A., Merrimack`s vice president of mission and ministry. That fascination and affection never waned, leading to his life鈥檚 vocation. To mark the 40th anniversary of Fr. Ray`s ordination into the priesthood, all are welcome to join a celebratory Mass on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 5 p.m. at the Collegiate Church of Christ the Teacher.
